Winners in Round 2 were Tauranga over Omokoroa,Omanu over Rotorua ,Mount defeated Springfield,& Whakatane defeated Taupo.

Things don't get better for Rotorua as they just get pipped by the Mount.Tauranga back on track against Omanu,and Otumoetai's dream start continues.

Second Round of the coastal was played at Te Teko and very hot conditions.Tauranga & Ohope achieved good wins whilst two matches ended in draws.Meanwhile in Central Hamurana are off to a flyer.

Played at Tauranga on April 3rd. Omanu and Tauranga tied their matches with 3 wins each, Mt Maunganui won 4 matches to 2 over Otumoetai while the Omokoroa team defaulted to Whangamata.
Points after 2 rounds in Seaside section are Mt Maunganui 16, Tauranga 15, Otumoetai 14, Whangamata 12, Omanu 8 & Omokoroa 3.

Women's Silver Thermal Zone
Round 3 for this group was played at Rotorua with the team from the Eastern Clubs defeating Te Puke 10 - 2 and Taupo beating Springfield 9 - 3. Points now are Eastern 29, Rotorua 20, Taupo 12, Springfield 6 and Te Puke 5. In the 4th round next week Eastern have the bye and then in round 5 Eastern & Rotorua clash to see who will lead the section into the semis.

Omanu clinch Round Robin with a 8.5 to 3.5 victory over Whakatane.The Mount defeated Taupo 11-1 but fell short by 2 points in catching Omanu.

First round results from Omanu and the boilover was Omokoroa defeating Springfield 6.5 to 5.5. Whakatane prevailed over Otumoetai 6.5 to 5.5, Rotorua defeated newcomers Te Puke only because of their foursomes advantage whilst the Mounties proved to be too strong for Taupo in winning 9-3

The big turn up for the 1st round was Omokoroa defeating Springfield.After sneaking ahead 2.5 to 1.5 with the foursomes Darryn Lowans, Tony Hewlett Bryan Pirani and Number 1 Andrew Stewart secured the 4 points to get the Omokoroa boys home.
